Dark shadows loom ahead... the wind is howling, lightning stikes the crest of the Tower of Discord... there stands 5R's raid force... face to face with the master of the tower... the fiend that is the apex of all this evil from Discord... the battle awaits! --but how did it come to this?

Sacrafice! No no... we didn't send in our famous Paladin ramp tank as a Dwarven Sacrafice to start the event... we were there to free the King Gelidran and Queen Pyronis from the evil clutches of the Discord Corrupters. This event has us trying to help the hot queen by kicking some butt... killing bazus , a few named mobs, and those wierd corrupters that had some kind of link to each other. Not to mention they were all dressed in drag and wearing skirts, which we quickly remedied with our weapons. (ahem... the ends of our swords as it were... not sure what you were thinking about- )

After our encounter with the cross-dressing corrupters, we moved on to Zun Muram! This dude had 2 heads... that we knew of... and lots of friends that made this timed event a real hassel. That is, until we pulled out some old-school touches that made this event actually quite enjoyable! (Yes, I know... "touch" and "enjoyable" ha ha - moving on- ) This goofy freak show included the goat-lady, the snake charmer, and some see-thru freak that lives in a bubble! We even managed to get a special surprise in the loot chest, although I am still trying to figure out if that was supposed to be a snack, or some kind of kickball... After toying with our loot (he hehe) we clicked our way to the top of the tower to come face to face with Lord Brekt... stay tuned for more!

Ohhh yeah, we are coming (snicker) for you!

After taking down Mindblight, 5R set it's sights on a new set of targets..., well, a set of trophys to be more specific. We set off for the trophy room to pillage and plunder, and that event kept our hands full!! Okay, okay... full of loot, but it's all the same, it did take us a couple nights worth of trying to pry open that treasure chest.

We weren't done yet however... as if from some strange flashback from the movie Aliens, we noticed some sleeping chambers with shrunken versions of our favorite Discord mobs! After setting them free and dancing with them in pairs, we finally got in the ring with Lanys and Firiona, yes... it was all good minus the pool of jello, but I guess we can't have everything. Regardless of the lack of mud wrestling, the ladies gave up on the fight, and helped us finish off the "Curator", obviously the evil named in there, that had trapped our ladies in his glass chambers... well, you can't blame a guy for tryin!

Tonight we knocked on the door to Discord Tower... funny thing is someone left the door unlocked, so we opened that door wide open! Good ol' Mindblight was there to greet us with some oozes and a disappearing act... unfortunately for Mindblight, 5R wasn't impressed by his performance and we turned Mindblight into Lobster bisque - YUMMY!!

Mindshear is a interesting event to say the least.  Was funny as hell watching people run around like crazy the first few trys and the chanters go a bit nuts trying to get things figured out LOL!!! It was crazy fun!
